YALA JEEP SAFARI

Sri Lanka’s premier national park is popular for Elephant, Leopard, Bear, Crocodile and wild Boar. Located to the south east of the island, the main physical features are sand dunes, lagoons, dry river, stream beds, rocky outcrops and scrub / thorn forest at 97,800 hectares, this is the second largest of Sri Lanka’s national parks. Its open undulating terrain made it famous for elephants for many years, but recently the park has also received much fame through publicity by National Geographic, BBC and the Discovery TV channels, which focused on a leopard research / conservation and identification project. Claims have subsequently been made that Yala national park has the world’s highest concentration of leopard per square kilometer.

  • Amazing !

What can I say which hasn't been said so far? Anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka needs to contact this company. We arranged 3 day trips through Select Sri Lanka with the customer service being second to none. At each and every stage, we were provided with plenty of information and prices that were reasonable. We also found them to be the cheapest company to pick up and drop off at the airport. Our driver was Kasan and was an absolute pleasure. We done the Galle day tour, Kandy tour and safari trip and each trip was well worth it...

  • For animal lovers

A big thank you to Select Sri Lanka Tours a local agency (Kalatura) very serious. From France, we organized our stay and we spent holidays merveilleuses. Tour thanks to Mr Gayan that meets all our mails. Less prices are reasonable and the drivers are always on time, helpful, friendly and good drivers .It misses the French spoken! For those who love animals, we recommend Yala National Park where we had the chance to see the cheetahs or take the tour of the orphanage elephants in Kandy...

  • Best trip

My new husband and me visited Sri Lanka as the first stop of our honeymoon. We had pre booked 2x trips with select Sri Lanka when back home through emails and text messages and Gayan was so helpful in organising exactly what we wanted. He messaged us all the way and even on the night before the trips and after the trips with all details. Our trips were private, only me and my husband in the lovely car that was air conditioned and driven by Kasun who was amazing at driving through the crazy traffic ( once you are there you will know what I mean) kasun took us to Galle ...<

  • First Class Service

I contacted Gayan at Select Sri Lanka after reading the fantastic reviews he had been receiving on Trip Advisor and I have to say they are worthy of each review as the service we received was first class. I enquired about one trip (Kandy Tour Highlights) before we left to travel to Sri Lanka and Gayan responded straight away with all the information on the trip, what was included what we would be visiting so we went ahead and made the booking. Once we arrived in Sri Lanka we booked another trip (Galle)...

  • If calsberg did tour guides

Don't bother with any other Sri Lankan tour company....these are the best, can't recommend them enough.
A few months before we went to Sri Lanka I got in touch via email wih Gayan at Sri select tours, over the next few months we discussed which were the best tours to do to maximise our time in Sri Lanka. There was regular contact right up to the day before we travelled, which was great reassurance as even though we were looking forward to visiting Sri Lanka we were a bit apprehensive.Upon arrival at Sri Lanka all my worry totally disappeared.....wow what an amazing country. We were in contact all the time with Gayan through whatsapp whose customer service was second to none...
